This historic occasion marked a proud moment for IVSA India, as it hosted its first-ever national symposium — uniting aspiring veterinarians under one vision of collaboration, innovation, and excellence. The ceremony reflected the vibrant spirit of veterinary science, leadership, and camaraderie, laying the foundation for a four-day journey of shared learning and inspiration.

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it gives me immense joy and pride to welcome you all to this grand 1st National Symposium. Today, this hall is buzzing with energy - because what we begin here today is more than a symposium - it's the birth of new connections, fresh ideas, and unforgettable memories.
The symposium features a rich blend of educational sessions like expert talks, poster presentations, quiz battle, equine workshop, visit to Wildlife Research and Training Centre, Gorewada, Transit Treatment Centre, cultural experiences and networking opportunities. We, the International Veterinary Students Association are the largest Veterinary students association in the world spread across 70+ countries and more than 38,000 members. Speaking about IVSA India, we have more than 25 local chapters and 2500 members.
After years of effort, passion, and perseverance it's finally official—IVSA India is now a registered body, recognised by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India. So let’s celebrate this achievement together, let’s learn, share, and grow together, and let this symposium be remembered as the day we didn't just talk about change but we became the change.
